Here's a "copy" of an L-4000 but it has the power supply, Triac's, and controller all built into one case.  Another curious item is that it's label Focus Lighting which is a company that Paul Gregory started after he left Litelab.  Speaking of copy's, I've never been able to find any direct patents for the L-8000 or L-4000???
